This page explains what data we process when you use biancar.fr, why, for how long, and what your rights are. The service is reserved for automotive professionals.
1. Data controller

2. Data we process
- Account: company, first and last name, email, phone, VAT number, country, relationship type. Passwords are stored encrypted (never in clear text).
- Transactions: your reservations and offers, time stamped with acceptance of the terms, and any messages.
- Browsing: the vehicle listings you view (to prioritise what suits you) and your last login date.
- Emails: the technical status of our sends (delivered, opened) via our emailing provider.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- Managing your account and transactions: performance of the contract and pre-contractual steps.
- Sending you our offers by email: your consent (given at registration) and our legitimate interest in a business relationship. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Prioritising vehicles that suit you (from your search and your browsing): legitimate interest.
- Meeting our accounting and legal obligations: legal obligation.
4. How long
As long as your account exists. If you delete it, your account, requests, alerts and browsing data are erased. Documents required for our accounting and legal obligations (such as invoices) are kept for the period required by law.
5. Who has access
Your data is never sold. It is accessible to Biancar and to our technical processors, only to run the service:
- Supabase (database): hosted in the European Union, Paris region.
- Vercel (site hosting): running in the European Union, Paris region.
- Brevo (email sending): French provider.
Your data is processed within the European Union.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object, restrict and port your data. In practice:
- Your information can be edited directly from the My account area.
- You can delete your account at any time from My account: this erases your data and unsubscribes you from all our sends.
- Every commercial email includes an immediate unsubscribe link.
- For any other request: auto@biancar.fr.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).
7. Cookies
We only use the technical cookies necessary for your login and the security of the site. No advertising, no third party trackers.
8. Security
Access to data is partitioned (each account only sees its own data), passwords are encrypted, and exchanges with the site are secured (HTTPS).
